Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the eduyora Platform. By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Platform.

The eduyora Platform is operated by eduyora technologies, a sole proprietorship of Jyoti Verma, through Rahul Kumar and Yoginder Kumar, with its principal place of business at Villa No-75, Green Residency, Kingson Green Villa, New SKS World School, Chipyana Buzurg, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh – 201009, India.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

PlatformThe eduyoraweb application accessible at https://www.eduyora.in and any associated mobile interfaces.
We / eduyora/ CompanyThe entity operating the Platform.
UserAny individual or organisation that accesses or uses the Platform, including Publishers, School Admins, Teachers, and Students.
PublisherA content creator or organisation that uploads and distributes digital books through the Platform.
SchoolAn educational institution that subscribes to the Platform for its students and teachers.
StudentAn individual learner registered on the Platform, typically by a School.
TeacherAn educator registered on the Platform by a School.
ContentAll digital books, texts, images, videos, quizzes, and other materials available on the Platform.
SubscriptionA paid plan that grants access to Platform features for a defined period.
INRIndian Rupee — the currency of all prices quoted on the Platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

2.1By registering for or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2.2If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation (e.g., a School or Publisher), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2.3These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and eduyora. They supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements relating to the Platform.

3. Eligibility

3.1The Platform is intended for use by schools, educational institutions, and their students and staff within India.
3.2Students below the age of 18 must be registered through their School. Parents or guardians of minor Students are deemed to have authorised use by providing registration consent to the School.
3.3Publisher accounts require a valid business registration or individual professional identity as required by eduyoraduring onboarding.

4. Platform Access & User Accounts

4.1Access to the Platform is provisioned by eduyoraor by authorised School Admins. Self-registration is not available for Students and Teachers.
4.2You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with any other person.
4.3You must notify eduyoraimmediately at support@eduyora.co.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
4.4eduyora reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that is found to have been accessed by an unauthorised person or used in violation of these Terms.

5. Subscription Plans & Pricing

5.1Access to the Platform for Students requires an active paid subscription. The following fees apply based on the Student's grade level:

5.2All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes (including GST) unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
5.3eduyora reserves the right to revise subscription prices with 30 days' prior notice. Existing subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal cycle.
5.4Teacher and School Admin accounts are provisioned at the School subscription level. Pricing for institutional or bulk plans may differ and will be communicated separately.

6. Free Trial

6.1eduyora may offer a free trial period to new users or Schools at its discretion. Trial terms, duration, and eligible features will be communicated at the time of the offer.
6.2At the end of the free trial, access will be suspended unless a paid subscription is activated.
6.3eduyora reserves the right to withdraw or modify free trial offers at any time without notice.

7. Publisher Terms

7.1Publishers may upload digital books and other educational content to the Platform subject to eduyora's content guidelines and onboarding approval.
7.2Publishers retain ownership of the intellectual property in their content. By uploading content, Publishers grant eduyoraa non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute the content to subscribed Users.
7.3Publishers are solely responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, is accurate, and complies with all applicable laws.
7.4eduyora will share revenue with Publishers as per the separately agreed Publisher Agreement. In the absence of a written agreement, the default revenue share will be communicated during onboarding.
7.5eduyora will deduct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on Publisher payouts as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961, and issue Form 16A accordingly.
7.6eduyora reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or eduyora's content guidelines, without prior notice.

8. School & Institution Terms

8.1Schools are responsible for registering their students and teachers accurately on the Platform and ensuring that only enrolled students and staff are granted access.
8.2Schools must ensure that students using the Platform have parental or guardian consent where required under applicable law.
8.3Schools are responsible for any misuse of the Platform by students or teachers registered under their account.
8.4Schools must not re-sell, sub-licence, or transfer their subscription to any third party.

9. Student Terms

9.1Students must use the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
9.2Students must not download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any Content from the Platform except as expressly permitted by the Platform's features.
9.3Students must not attempt to circumvent any access controls, digital rights management, or subscription restrictions on the Platform.
9.4eduyora's AI Study Assistant (“Yora”) is provided as an educational aid. Students should verify AI-generated responses independently and not rely solely on them for academic or professional decisions.

10. Teacher / Educator Terms

10.1Teachers may access Platform features as enabled by their School Admin, including book assignments, class management, and reading analytics.
10.2Teachers must not share their credentials or grant unauthorised access to Platform features to persons outside their institution.
10.3Teachers are responsible for the appropriateness of any content they assign to students through the Platform.

11. Content & Intellectual Property

11.1All Platform software, design, trademarks, logos, and non-Publisher content are the exclusive property of eduyoraand are protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws.
11.2Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform and its Content solely for personal educational purposes during an active subscription period.
11.3No Content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, transmitted, or distributed in any form without prior written consent from eduyoraor the respective Publisher.
11.4Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas submitted to eduyoraby Users may be used by eduyorawithout restriction, compensation, or attribution.

12. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, its servers, or databases.
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Platform.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract Content or data from the Platform.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Platform to transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or promotional material.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription controls, access restrictions, or DRM protections.
  • Post, upload, or share content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, or illegal.
  • Use AI tools or automated bots to systematically interact with or extract data from the Platform.
12.1Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

13. Payment Terms & Billing

13.1Accepted Payment Methods: UPI and Bank Transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS).
13.2Subscription-Based Access: Access to the Platform is provided on a prepaid subscription basis. The applicable subscription fee must be paid in full before access is activated or renewed. No access will be granted until payment is confirmed.
13.3Payment Verification: Users subscribing via Bank Transfer must submit payment proof (transfer confirmation / UTR number) through the Platform's subscription portal. eduyora will verify and activate access within 3 working days of receiving valid proof. UPI payments are verified automatically.
13.4Subscription Expiry & Service Suspension: Subscriptions are valid for the period purchased (monthly or yearly). On the expiry date, Platform access is automatically suspended without prior notice. No grace period is provided. Users must renew before or on the expiry date to avoid interruption.
13.5Renewal: Subscriptions do not auto-renew. It is the User's responsibility to renew before the expiry date. eduyora may send reminder notifications via email or within the Platform, but non-receipt of such reminders does not entitle the User to continued access.
13.6Data Retention on Expiry: All user data (reading history, notes, progress) is retained for 90 days following subscription expiry. If the subscription is not renewed within this period, eduyora reserves the right to permanently delete the data.
13.7Billing Receipts: A digital payment receipt will be made available within the Platform's billing section upon successful payment confirmation.

14. Cancellation & Refund Policy

14.1All subscription fees are non-refundable once access has been activated.
14.2If eduyora is unable to activate access within the agreed verification period due to an error on eduyora's part, a full refund will be issued for the affected period.
14.3Requests for refunds due to technical issues must be raised within 7 days of the issue occurring by writing to support@eduyora.co.in. eduyora will investigate and respond within 7 working days.
14.4No refunds will be issued for partial use, change of mind, or circumstances beyond eduyora's reasonable control.

15. Privacy & Data Protection

15.1eduyora collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
15.2eduyora complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and all other applicable Indian data protection laws.
15.3Student data is treated with heightened protection. eduyora does not share student personal data with advertisers or third parties except as required by law or as described in the Privacy Policy.

16. Cookies & Tracking

16.1eduyora uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyse Platform usage.
16.2By using the Platform, you consent to the use of essential cookies. You may manage non-essential cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

17. Third-Party Services & Links

17.1The Platform may integrate third-party services (e.g., payment processors, AI providers, communication tools). Use of such services is subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies.
17.2eduyora is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services or websites linked from the Platform.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

18.1The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. eduyoramakes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
18.2eduyora does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
18.3eduyora's AI features are provided as educational aids and eduyora does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

19. Limitation of Liability

19.1To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eduyora's total liability to any User for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by that User in the 3 months preceding the claim.
19.2eduyora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
19.3eduyora shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events, internet outages, or third-party service failures.

20. Indemnification

20.1You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless eduyora, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

21. Termination & Suspension

21.1eduyora may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if eduyora reasonably believes your account is being used fraudulently or in a manner that causes harm to other Users or to eduyora.
21.2Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Clauses relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
21.3You may discontinue use of the Platform at any time. Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable upon voluntary discontinuation.

22. Notices & Communication

22.1eduyora may communicate with Users via email, in-Platform notifications, or by posting notices on the Platform website.
22.2Notices sent by eduyorato the email address registered on your account are deemed received on the date of sending.
22.3Notices to eduyoramust be sent to support@eduyora.co.in and are deemed received on the next working day after sending.

23. Modifications to the Platform

23.1eduyora reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, without liability to Users.
23.2eduyora will endeavour to provide advance notice of material changes that significantly affect the User experience.

24. Amendments to These Terms

24.1eduyora may update these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date.
24.2Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
24.3For material changes, eduyora will notify registered Users via email or in-Platform notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

25. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, a Grievance Officer has been appointed:

26. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

26.1In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice of the dispute.
26.2If the dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation, it shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties.
26.3The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. The language of arbitration shall be English.

27. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

27.1These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
27.2Subject to Clause 26, the courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

28. Severability

28.1If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

29. Entire Agreement

29.1These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any separately agreed Publisher Agreement or School Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and eduyorawith respect to the Platform and supersede all prior understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
